These two companies have created some of the best products in the market, particularly EBC brakes and Edelbrock carburetors. When it comes to buying performance auto parts, however, it often helps to look into the warranties offered on these products. Keeping your car working in perfect order depends heavily on the wear and tear of your parts, which is why you want to ensure that you are covered by a good warranty. Here’s some information on the warranties on EBC brakes and Edelbrock carburetors: The warranty on EBC brakes EBC offers a number of different warranties, but we will take a look at the warranty on automotive disc brake pads. The EBC Brakes warranty mainly covers your brake pads for defects in workmanship or materials. The warranty typically covers you for 12 months after the date of purchase or 10,000 miles of highway use, whichever comes first. If you experience defects in workmanship or materials, you may be eligible to have your product replaced with a similar product or for a refund on the purchase value of the product. Normally, the warranty doesn’t cover products used on vehicles for racing, rally, drifting, trackday driving, taxis, or hire cars. Normal wear and tear and brake noise are not covered in the warranty. A new Edelbrock carburetor (with the exception of Performer Series Carburetors, which has its own warranty type) is covered for defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty lasts for one year after the date of purchase. To avail of the warranty, your product may not be modified or changed, and it has to have been installed properly and subjected to normal use. Edelbrock is obligated to repair or replace any product that is inspected and determined by Edelbrock to have a defect in workmanship or material.
