Ford S-Max – Intended To Deliver

If you want to drive an SAV, Sports Activity Vehicle, then it is likely that you care a lot about having a car that delivers in practicality at the same time as being really quite sporty. This, of course, is exactly what the Ford S-Max is intended to deliver. You can tell from the design that Ford are trying to introduce a sporty vibe into the mix, with the use of dynamic lines and angles to produce that typically energetic Ford look. This feeling continues inside, with the sporty but practical interior and the smart and luxurious top quality dashboard.

The Ford S-Max, as with many other cars in the Ford Automotive range, comes in three different versions. They are all the same basic car underneath, but the aim with the different versions is to ensure that you get the car that bests suits your requirements, and that you don’t buy a car with features you simply don’t care about having. The options, just so you know, include the basic level Zetec model, the Titanium model, with privacy glass and a fancy CD system, or the Titanium X Sport, the more elegant top of the range model with sporty power.

I am not sure what I think of the concept of Ford Kinetic Design. The ideas is that the paintjob and the styling features on a range of new Ford cars makes them look like they could be moving even when they are sitting still. You see this the most in the larger cars that could have the potential to look a little over-sized and cumbersome. The Ford S-Max, for example, goes to real lengths to ensure that it looks like the sporty car it wants to be, whilst still managing to be adventurous and off-road friendly. Quite an achievement!
