Jaguar Dealers
Virtually all automobile dealerships operate in a similar fashion. The economic realities of survival in a competitive marketplace require it, and only the most brazen of dealers would dare venture far from the accepted standards of service that consumers have come to expect. Jaguar Dealers are no different from any other dealer in the respect that they must generate a profit in order to remain viable. However, Jaguar purchasers may expect a higher level of service than purchasers of more mundane lines.
When selecting a dealer, there are some commonalities that should be examined. Jaguar Dealers, on whole, expend a great deal of effort and money to establish a facility that will meet the requirements of the Jaguar organization and the expectations of their target market. As with any business, retention of the current customer base is critical to the survival of the dealership. Consumers can (and should) solicit the comments of current dealership clients for their evaluation of dealership quality whenever possible. Note here that dealerships will often have a base of customers that are satisfied and willing to recommend the business. However, there are generally less-than-satisfied customers that may be harder to find but doing so might be a very enlightening experience.
Prior to purchasing, collect whatever public information relating to consumer complaints that might be available for the geographic region where the dealership is located. Organizations like the Better Business Bureau are commonly utilized to verify the reputation of the dealer in question. Jaguar Dealers are unlikely to remain in business very long if too many consumers complaints go unresolved. Keep in mind that a couple of complaints would be commonly expected as human nature dictates that not all customers will be satisfied all the time.
It is also wise to visit the service and parts departments to ascertain if the departments are likely to be able to quickly meet the repair needs of the vehicle being considered. How often are cars required to be held overnight? Does the dealership provide loaner or rental cars? Is concierge service available? Jaguar Dealers, because of the type of vehicles being sold, should be expected to exceed the standard of service one might expect to see in a dealership representing a lesser automobile. When one purchases a quality vehicle, one generally expects quality service from all areas of the dealership.
