The Triumph Bonneville comes with a fuel-injected 865cc twin cylinder engine.. This Bonneville offers characteristics of smooth riding abilities and a feel that only the Triumph can deliver to it’s driver.
The Triumph Bonneville has that rare 1970′s vintage look and 17 inch cast wheels. The mudguards are short instead of long. The seat of this Bonneville is low slung and comfy.
The Triumph Bonneville comes in four different models.
The SE model of the Triumph Bonneville adds upgrades such as upgraded dials, a metal polished engine casing , chrome Triumph badges and a two toned paint job.
The Triumph Bonneville T100 adds even more by including twin pea shooter exhausts and more chrome.
The Triumph Bonneville was given it’s name after the Salt Flats in Utah state where many companies including Triumph attempted to break speed records. The original Triumph Bonneville was very well liked for its high performance when compared to other bikes. The motor was later on upgraded to a 750cc engine. In 1979 the Triumph Bonneville won the Motor Cycle News Of The Year award. A newer version of the Triumph Bonneville was released in 2001. The new models were very strong in their resemblance to the older models but had modern engineering in it. Depending on the model of the bike it was given a 790-865 cc motor. Starting in 2007 all Bonneville’s received a 865cc motor.
During 2006 Triumph launched line ” Sixty-8″ that consisted of Bonneville accessories. This line of product offered accessories that gave the Triumph a more vintage look and modern style. The line included seats, seat covers, cam covers, sprocket covers, petrol tank covers, tank badges, panniers and many other items.
