Triumph Street Triple
The Triumph Street Triple is one of the mean-looking bikes manufactured by the Triumph Motorcycle Company. Riders have been lusting after this bike since it’s release in 1997. While the 2010 Street Triple models are relatively unchanged since 2009, they’re still a favourite among motorcycle riders because of their aggressive looks and powerful motors.
The Triumph Street Triple is classified as a streetfighter motorcycle with an engine size of 675cc. There are currently a Triumph Street Triple base model and a Triumph Street Triple R currently available for 2010. The Triple R is very similar to the base model, but it offers different colour schemes including jet black paint and orange wheels. Grey and orange colour schemes are also available.
These bikes are getting great reviews from places like Cycle World, Telegraph and Sport Rider. What riders seemed to like the most was the power and sound of the motor, they also liked the throttle response and the overall height of the bike. Reviewers love the Triumph Street Triple because it’s only as powerful as you want it to be. If you want to take it easy, you can easily do that and then when you want to be more aggressive, simply give it more power and it’ll give you a great ride.
Pricing isn’t too bad on these bikes either but you may have to be put on a waiting list before you can get your hands on one. Just about anybody could afford one because of their low price points. The base model has an MSRP of just $8,899 USD while the Street Triple R model has an MSRP of $9,599 USD. The low price can be attributed mostly because of the fact that these bikes weren’t renewed for 2010. Still though, it’s a great price for a new bike that has all the specifications the Street Triple models have.
