When it came time for me to choose myself a new used car, I was quite literally bowled over by the sheer amount of choice that was available to me, even though I had a relatively modest budget. This is when I become very much aware of how car value depreciation works and how it makes certain cars on the second hand market considerably more affordable than others.
Prestige brands are the ones that get hit most of all by the depreciation in car value. The very nature of prestige means that the vast majority of prospective owners are really only interested in owning a car that is fresh from the manufacturers. As a result, the used market can easily become awash with a deluge of cars like Used BMW models aplenty.
The car dealers are eager to avoid their stock becoming too rammed with Used BMW cars, so the prices are reduced dramatically to try and shift them from the forecourts. This makes life a bit more pleasurable for the likes of me who enjoy nothing more than picking up fabulous cars at massively discounted prices.
So my advice to anyone out there who is currently considering buying a used car, why not keep your eyes open for some top quality Used BMW bargains, as I genuinely believe that you will be able to pick up a surprisingly high spec used model for a lot less than you were planning to spend. I promise you that you will not regret it!
