In the last few years Honda has invested heavily on lots of different products other than the Honda road vehicles. Honda has not only invested heavily into different types of products but they have also put a lot of research and development into electrical vehicles. This summer Honda plan to launch the new CR-Z which will run on petrol as well as electricity. If the photographs are anything to go by it will look sleek and stylish which is the image the Used Honda Civic has managed to pull off in the last few years. The combined consumption will be up to 56.3 mpg which is reasonable for a sporty hybrid vehicle. The Toyota Prius manages to do a combined consumption of 70.4 mpg but this is not a car I would class as a sporty model. Instead it is a large hatchback or small saloon. Usually larger vehicles perform better in terms of fuel consumption which is probably another reason why the Prius performs better. However even though this consumption sounds good it is probably the maximum it can do. However my dad’s Skoda Octavia can do almost the same mileage as the Prius because it is a diesel and he travels long distances.

I must admit I do like new and used Honda vehicles particularly a used Honda Civic which I currently drive to work. Honda has somehow redesigned its major selling vehicles in order for the newer cars to look modern and stylish which is important as competitors have strived to do this. Although commercial and passenger vehicles aren’t the only products that Honda produces. In addition to the hybrid vehicles Honda has invested in different types of products such as motorcycles, racing vehicles, lawnmowers, marine products, ATV, energy and Honda jets (who could imagine.) This is a lot of different products far more than any other car manufacturer. It is interesting to see how Honda can maintain this type of expenditure on different models. It must be that Honda makes a decent profit in these other products that they produce. Even though I like the Honda Civic the motorcycles are really good and have been for some time now. I particularly like the way Honda have distinguished each of their bikes on their site. For example they have listed their motorbikes into particular categories which include adventure, cruisers, off road, road sport, scooters, sports tourers, super sports, toruing traditional and 125 cc. This is a great way to find the right sort of motorbike as long as Honda has separated the bikes into the appropriate categories. 

In my opinion Honda produce some of the most reasonably priced and reliable cars even with some of the fault issues they have faced this year Honda still has kept its reputation for reliability in tact. Out of all the products Honda produces I think their car range and motorbike products are the best just because of their style and overall performance. Honda really have improved the image of their vehicles over the past few years particularly their new and used Honda Civic range.
